Receptive Numbers by Class is an educational app to teach language skills to all learners, but particularly to those with developmental delays. Sometimes, it’s difficult for a learner to receptively identify particular concept, such as recognizing various Numbers. This app will introduce each concept in isolation using receptive identification, then increase the field size to ensure mastery of the class.
 
Children will be presented with a field of pictures that includes a Number and various distraction pictures. The student will be asked to “Touch the Number.”  Example: When presented with a picture of the Number “2” and a tree, the child will be asked to “Touch the Number”.
 
This app will track your child’s progress and isolate the concepts that your child struggles with. These missed trials will be sent to an additional practice feature. This app is also capable of tracking the data of multiple children, without overlapping their data.
 
This app will be a valuable resource for IEP meetings, conferences, and team meetings.
 
Once each concept is mastered in rotation, consult the “adaptations” portion of the app to learn how to help the skill generalize into the child’s natural environment.
