Application Description
A fun and interactive app for learning, with bright and colorful graphics that the children are sure to enjoy!
Yes vs No is an educational app to teach language skills to all children, but particularly to those with developmental delays. Sometimes, it’s difficult for children to understand the concept of “Yes” vs “No”. This app will introduce each concept in isolation using receptive identification.
Children will be presented with a picture and then asked “Is this an _____?” Example: When presented with a picture of a dog, the child will be asked “Is this a dog?”, and the child will answer “Yes”. When presented with a picture of a car, the child will be asked “Is this a sock?” and the child will answer “No”.
This app will track your child’s progress and isolate the associations that your child struggles with. These associations will be sent to an additional practice feature. This app is also capable of tracking the data of multiple children, without overlapping their data.
This app will be a valuable resource for IEP meetings, conferences, and team meetings.
Once “Yes” and “No” concepts are mastered in rotation, the app will explain how you can generalize them into the child’s natural environment.
