Motor overload protection sizing (OLPS) is used to calculate the overload setting of a motor.
1.This is achieved by determine the category of the motor from its name plate if it is a continuous or non-continuous motor.
2.Enter full load current (FLC) or full load amps (FLA) base the NEC regulation to determine overload protection of a motor.
3.Enter the condition into the text field base on that motor category
4.Tap to enter values
5.Select motor category
6.Result will display the OLPS ,category and motor operating time
7.To determine thermal overload
•Enter the FLC from the reference information
•Tap to enter
•Select thermal overload
•The result will display OLPS and thermal overload
