Division Board introduces kids in grade 3 division of whole numbers up to 100 without remainders. This app encourages kids to apply logical thinking when they are doing division. Division Board uses beads as objects that help understand the concept of sharing equally among friends. This app provides students a fantastic way to practice “hands-on” division. We encourage kids to choose their own equations along the game.

Start playing with the Division Board!
÷ Choose your equation.
÷ Place Daisy's friends as your divisor below each number along the top green screen.
÷ Place your beads, representing your dividend, on the division board and share them equally among each Daisy friend starting in row 1 until you have no more beads to give away.
÷ Look at the text on the top right of your screen, next to your equation. It helps you to count how many beads you have left every time you place a bead.
÷ Daisy Divide will make a silly sound if you misplace a bead.
÷ Ask yourself “how many beads does each Daisy friend get?” Then, look at the number on the last row. This is your answer - also called quotient.
÷ For example, 32 ÷ 4 means that you have 32 beads that you want to share equally among 4 Daisy's friends. Once you started sharing to Daisy’s friends row by row, you'll give away the last beads on row 8.
