Add Strategy provides students in elementary mental math strategies to add numbers in a fun way. These strategies help students find many possible ways to add numbers (i.e. 4+1= 5; 1+4=5; 3+2=5; 2+3=5). This game involves other math concepts besides addition such as problem solving, place value and fast computation.

At the beginning of the app, kids choose their level of difficulty from a menu of equations. First graders can start with one star, second graders may start with two stars, and so on. Kids will join Paul Plus, their new math buddy who will guide them through this fun math game.

Start playing Add Strategy!
+ Kids add to a given number goal.
+ Kids have a blank equation with either two, three or four addends to fill out (i.e. ? + ? = 13)
+ Think your best strategy to add to your goal using the numbers on the screen. Drag the number to the corresponding digit space in any order you want (tip: you can drag the number 0 to the ones 01, tens 10 or hundreds 100 to reach your goal!)
+ Kids earn hints by making correct equations. They can use their hints anytime they need help.
+ Try to solve as many equations as you can in 2 to 5 minutes and beat your record every time you play.
