These strategies help students find many possible combinations of numbers to add and get a given result. This game involves other math concepts besides addition such as problem solving, place value and fast computation.

Kids choose their challenge from a menu of equations. First graders can start with one star, second graders may start with two stars, and so on. Paul Plus is your buddy who will guide kids in this fun addition game!

Start playing Add Strategy with your kids!
+ Kids add to a number goal.
+ Kids have a blank equation with either two, three or four addends to fill out.
+ Think your best strategy to add to your goal using the first round of cards from 0 to 9 that will be given randomly to you. Tap any addend (ones, tens, hundreds) to fill the number on the space line or discard it in the trash.
(tip: you can use the number 0 in the tens or hundreds to reach your goal)
+ Kids have the option of redoing the equation by simply tapping the eraser.
+Try to solve as many equations as you can before the time is over.
