Pier7mobile is pleased to release its cloud nexys app. The cloudnexys is a front end application for the ownCloud open-source cloud storage software. Designed specifically to work with an ownCloud installation, it provides a clean, intuitive user interface to access and manage content stored in an owncloud installation that you have permission to access. The app allows you to:

- Connect to an owncloud server that you are authorized to access
- See folders and files stored in your owncloud
- Copy files from the cloud to the iPad for viewing offline in a separate preview panel
- Create new local folders on the iPad for organizing local content
- There is a separate document preview panel that displays all local folders and files in an easy to read grid
- Files are shown in miniature with the first page visible for easy identification
- You can open most standard email attachments directly into cloudnexys local for viewing and move these files into owncloud if necessary
- Delete folders and files from the iPad
