Whitebook is a cloud-based native application that stores and displays Clinical Attachment documents (e.g. counseling, case study, records of student clinical grades) on iOS devices.

The application enables cloud-based access of documents stored on an NP student’s GDocs account via an iOS device. The app is able to display various types of content, including JPG, PNG, PDF, iWork, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, HTML and plain text.

Wireless networks are typically not allowed in some areas of hospitals so the app allows clinical facilitators and students to complete forms offline for submission later when Internet access is available. In addition, the app also allows peer-to-peer transfer of documents from one device to another via Bluetooth.
