Trackless è una collezione che raccoglie il lavoro di professionisti con specifiche competenze che sviluppano un progetto al di fuori del loro consueto ambito di lavoro, ad esempio un pittore che scrive una serie di romanzi brevi; o uno scrittore che fa fumetto. Pensiamo che questi testi siano in qualche modo rivelatori: ci dicono qualcosa in più dei loro autori e lo fanno da una prospettiva inconsueta, in grado di darci un punto di vista fresco su certi temi.

Trackless is a multiform collection made by contents such as a series of fictional short stories, a bundle of satirical cartoons, a string of narrative editorials, a sequence of votive, secular dedications. Although seeming conflicting, all these texts have something in common: they are the most evident, revealing expressions of a work that takes place out of its author’s comfort zone. While a sculptor and visual artist is dealing with the constraints of written narration, a design professional can be found here translating its critical expertise into a series of humorous, salty scenes.

Venturing out of either their fields of expertise or their most familiar means of expressions, the creative professionals who are protagonists of this collection give us the opportunity to reconsider the meaning of disciplines’ edges and to enjoy the unexpected richness of viewpoints at the same time lopsided and sharp.
