Text-Alert is an application designed to provide quick, easy access to communicate to one or many people in your contacts list. In seconds, everyone you setup on the configuration screen will receive coordinates, a map link, address where applicable, and a configurable message.

IMPORTANT NOTE: IOS5 updates automatically turn on MMS Messaging. Go to Settings, Messaging, MMS Messaging and turn it off. This ensures greater than 10 contact can receive and reply to messages sent from Text-Alert.

LIMITATIONS: TEXT-ALERT IS LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING CONSTRAINTS.
•Some companies and network plans limit group texting capabilities. If you have several people setup in your Text-Alert contacts list, you must confirm they can receive group messages. If they cannot, they should be removed from your Text-Alert contacts list. Please test Text-Alert once your contact list has been setup.
•Your mobile phone uses a Global Positioning System (GPS) to pinpoint your current location. This location is captured and posted into a text message and then transmitted to recipients in your contacts list.
•Accuracy is limited to the Global Positioning System’s (GPS) capability.
•Data plans are the responsibility of the devices owner. If data plans have limitations or become terminated as result of non-payment or other factors, Text-Alert will become inactive.
