Skin S3D HD
The skin, anatomically speaking, has always been a two-dimensional structure. Doctors study the skin through histological sections and microscopic images.
However, using new display technologies we have developed an application which allows users to view the skin as it really is, a beautiful three-dimensional tissue.
Based on real histological sections of healthy skin, Skin S3D HD displays each one of the layers which form the dermis and epidermis. It allows users to study the components of the skin and attached structures from any viewpoint, and complements the conventional approach to the study of Dermatology.
Users select the structure they wish to view, rotate it in the spacial planes, zoom in and zoom out. All this with excellent image quality, which allows users to obtain reference images for their own personal use, situating the three-dimensional model in the position they choose.
