Application Description
Polyatomics! is an app that helps Chemistry students, both high school and college, learn the polyatomic ions that are needed in their classes.
It works quite simply: The Ion Randomizer feature provides you with either the name of the ion or the ion itself and you guess the other. when you have given your answer, you click "show" and the answer is revealed so you can self-check. Then, press "next" for a new ion!
By separating Polyatomics! ions into two categories, Standard and "Geek" mode, high school students can study the 41 ions necessary in their classes while Advanced Placement and college students can activate Geek Mode and be quizzed on 69 different polyatomic ions!
Included in the app is a comprehensive index of ions that students can use to look up specific ions. This feature makes an excellent quick-reference guide if you need it!
