The PhotoLineUp app was designed with crime investigators in mind. The application allows users to create a suspect and upload the suspect’s photo from the Photo Library. Each suspect in the photo lineup will appear in a table on the “Suspect List” tab. Once all of the suspects have been created, the crime investigator can display the photo lineup by tapping on the “Photo Line Up” tab and then tapping the “Start” button. After tapping the “Start” button the first suspect in the lineup will slide onto the screen from the right.

If a victim recognizes a suspect, the victim can press the “Select Suspect” button, which will flip the picture over and provide a means for the victim to provide their name, their notes and their signature. The victim's signature can be added by touching the "Sign" button. Once the victim touches the sign button a new window will appear with an "Erase Signature" and "Save Signature" button. Once the victim provides their signature, you must tap the "Save Signature" button, otherwise the app will not capture it. After the signature has been provided and saved, tap on the "Back" button to return to the previous screen.

Once the victim enters their name, notes, and signature they can press the “Done” button which will assign the victim’s name and notes to the suspect.

After a user selects a suspect, a check mark will appear after the selected suspect back on the “Suspect List”. If you touch the selected suspect in the "Suspect List", you will be taken to a new screen where the following information is provided: Suspects Image, Victim's Signature, Selected Suspect's Name, Victim's Name, and the Victim's Notes.

Additionally, users can tap the "View PDF" button. This will generate a 2 page pdf document. The first page will contain the following information: 1) Suspects Name 2) Victim's Name 3) Victim's Notes. The second page will contain all of the suspects photos in the lineup and a red border will be drawn around the selected suspect and the name of the suspect will be at the bottom of each photo.

Also provided is a means to email all of this information to anyone you wish. Pressing the "Compose" button will populate the body of an email with the all the details and attach the image of the suspect and the image of the victim's signature, as well as the PDF document.

This app also allows users to share information between ios devices that have the Photo Lineup App installed and bluetooth capabilities. To send information between devices tap on the "Share" tab bar button. This will take you to a screen where you can connect ios devices. Once a connection has been established with another device (or devices) select an entry from the "Share" list. The selection will be highlighted in blue. Once selected, the "Send" button will activate. Tap the send button to send the information to all connected ios devices. Once sent, it is removed from the "Share" list only. It has not been permanently removed. To restore the "Share" list tap the "Regen" button. This will regenerate the list based on your suspect list. Tapping the "Disconnect" button will disconnect all connected devices.

Notes:

-) App restricts the lineup to SIX suspects.
-) App prevents users from selecting more than one suspect from the lineup.
