Application Description
One Teen Story is a literary magazine for young adult readers of every age. Each issue will feature one amazing short story about the teen experience.
One Teen Story is a monthly publication. Stories published in the magazine are selected by our award-winning editorial staff from submissions by established and emerging writers of young adult fiction. These authors have included, or will include, Gayle Forman, Francesca Lia Block, and Matt de la Pena. One Teen Story publishes stories that feature teen protagonists, are well written, and are strong enough to stand on their own.
The May issue of each year will feature a story written by an author between the ages of 14 and 19. This story will be selected as part of One Teen Story's annual Teen Writing Contest.
One Teen Story is published by One Story, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit supported by individual contributors and by foundations and corporations including the National Endowment for the Arts, NYSCA, and Amazon.com.
One Teen Story is published monthly. The app is a free download that includes one story and a weeklong free trial. After that, auto-renewing subscriptions are $1.99 for a month or $15.99 for a year.
