Monkeyapparels was established in September 2012, founded by Hafiz. Not long after, Boi Amani Hashim & Akmal Dahlan decided to join the team, to give a sparks on new ideas and bringing graphic Tee design to a new level, mainly to cater hobbyist market in Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei. In 2013, departure of Boi Amani has somewhat put Monkeyapparels to sleep for few months. However in October 2013, Budi Eka from Indonesia contacted Hafiz, to revive Monkeyapparels from the dead, where Hafiz seems reluctant to accept the idea. After many days of sleepless night, Hafiz decided to give it a go. Both combined their hardwork, dedication, ideas and designs, and started to search for a new talent accross Asia. In January 2014, they selected a young guy from Indonesia as the head designer consist of 7 team members, from Indonesia & Philippines.

Azurin, decided to bring something new in Monkeyapparels, and they decided to launch MARMOSET by Monkeyapparels, mainly to concentrate on tee designs for the lads.
