During its early inception, the role undertaken by KARYANEKA was to market the products of the Malaysian Craft Industry on a retailing concept at the Karyaneka Craft Village, Kuala Lumpur then.

Since the early 90's, the activities of KARYANEKA was enhanced to the supplying of Malaysian corporate gifts and souvenirs to government agencies as well as to the private sector.
