List to Pantry lets you set up grocery lists and inventories and add items to them. Its convenient auto-complete feature offers suggestions as you type based on items you have previously entered. It automatically groups items by category, saving you time in the grocery store. Tap “Alphabetize” to automatically alphabetize your lists and inventories, or tap “Edit” to rearrange them yourself. Check off items as you put them into your cart, and add them to an inventory by tapping “Delete Checked Items” while you wait in the checkout line. If you can’t find that special ingredient at one store, add it to another list by tapping “Move Items.” Don’t have time to stop by the store after work? No problem – e-mail a list to someone else by tapping the “E-mail” button. If they also have List to Pantry installed on their iPhone, iPod Touch, or iPad, they can copy and paste your e-mail into their program to create a new list or inventory by tapping the “Load List” or “Load Inventory” button.
Once you add items to your inventory (either from your lists or by tapping the + button), add them back to your lists as you prepare for your next shopping trip. Configure items to maintain a certain quantity between your inventory and a specified “Default Store” list, or add them manually by tapping the blue arrow next to each item. Set the expiration dates of items in your inventory to keep track of when you need to buy more. Set up multiple inventories for different rooms in your home, or your refrigerator, or your car, or your office.
List to Pantry also works great for purposes other than grocery shopping. Use it to keep track of what you need at the hardware store for your next home remodeling project, or use it as a to-do list.
