Any parent knows how important it is to take photos and videos of the important moments in their children’s lives, but who has the time to organize stacks of photos into a baby book or photo album?
With Kid Calendar, you no longer need to. When your child stands up to take their first steps, open Kid Calendar, tap “New Event,” and snap a photo or video of this momentous occasion in your child’s life. Type in a few words under the event’s “Description” to express your utter joy and excitement, and tap “Done” – the event is now stored on your calendar. You can also return to your events and edit them later. Mark them with tags that you specify (Baby’s firsts, birthday parties, family events), mark which of your children were at an event, or mark where the event occurred on a map by tapping “Set Location.”
Kid Calendar features an intuitive calendar that lets you browse your events by date. Tapping on an event allows you to revisit the excitement and emotion you were feeling during the event and peruse the photos and videos you shot. You can also search for events in the “Search” tab and filter your searches by date, children, tags, location, or text in the event’s title or description. Tap “E-mail PDF” to e-mail a PDF of your search results to yourself, your friends, or your family and share the important events in your children’s lives. If you have a Facebook account, you can post events to your wall and photos to a photo album directly from the app.
Kid Calendar will also periodically remind you of past events on your calendar so you can see just how much your kids have grown over the past few months.
