EyesBot Driver is an app for people who work with electronics or robotics as a hobby or profession. There is no hardware included with this app and none is now available, it is intended to be of use for people who, as a hobby or profession, build robots.

This app uses areas of the screen that flash to communicate with the robot hardware, rather than a network or electrical connection. The flashes are read using phototransistors, so the iOS device needs no electrical connection to the robot body, and also doesn't require a network connection to the robot (you will need a network connection to connect to the iPod to use the web interface to talk to the iPod, though). The areas that flash are the dark square areas at the bottom of the middle screenshot below. An example robot with the iPod in place is shown in the rightmost screenshot - there are phototransistors within the robot body that are determining whether each of the square areas is white or black. The direction is set with the trackpad control shown in the photo of the web UI in the screenshot second from the right. if you download it and don't build a body, it will still work as a way to stream images from your iOS device, but EyesBot Lite may be a better fit for that use.

This app is designed for use with both the iOS device and the browser being on the same network.
