For use by the Eye Care Professional (ECP), EyeDispense is the only optical dispensing App to use video to help patients choose new eyeglasses.
EyeDispense HD is designed for ECPs to help patients choose their new eyewear and eliminate the “I'll think about it” response at dispensing. While the ECP pans around the patient, EyeDispense records video and captures screenshots, providing patients with a view of themselves in a particular frame style from every angle. ECPs can then play and pause video for up to four frame styles —all in less than 40 seconds. In addition, the app allows patients to email or upload their photos to Facebook for instant friend approval.
The ability to email the choices is particularly helpful to men looking for partner approval. The instancy of Smart phones means the dispensing choice can often be “closed” when a partner typically replies “you look best in picture 3″.
