OCR for ID cards and other serial numbers is performed on the iPhone!
(nothing needs to be passed to a server to decode an ID).
Reading times are less than 1 second.
The ID reader will read OCRb id strings from:
EU ID cards, EU passports, French National Identity cards, Czech ID cards, Chinese ID cards, Egyptian ID cards, etc and the ID line from most drivers licenses including the
10 character ID on the back of UK drivers's licences.
Text can be edited and forwarded to a user defined URL.
