Application Description
Keep track of the beers you drink, rate them and make a comment on each of them.
BeerScanner lets you make notes on beer you drink or would like to drink.
For each beer you can rate the beer and write a comment. You can also indicate if you have drunken the beer, if you own some bottles of the beer and if it is a "favorite"-beer.
BeerScanner is integrated with Facebook and you can publish your comments on your wall.
You can also share your ratings with your BeerScanner friends.
BeerScanner connects to a database containing more than 2100 beers. To use the database to find a beer, Internet connection is necessary.
The search for a beer is greatly simplified by the means of scanning the bar code of the beer. Currently there are more than 900 bar codes in the database and it is growing. You can also search for the beer using the name of the beer, the name of the producer, country etc. For more elaborate search options you should try some of the websites on the Internet.
If the beer is not present in the database you can enter all details and add the beer to the database.
