Ever wish you had something to help you navigate through the mine field of theory you have to study when doing a degree in Fine Art?
Art Theory Lite has been developed with input from Fine Art lecturers as a study aid for students studying art at university level. It also doubles as a handy reference for lecturers who sometimes need to find information beyond their field of specialism.
Art Theory Lite provides offline access to handy bite-sized information about key theorists and philosophers widely cited in relation to art.
The app is divided into four useful sections:
1. DICTIONARY of over thirty of the most commonly referenced theorists
2. THEORISTS BY SUBJECT, good if you know what you're interested in but not sure where to start reading.
3. REFERENCING GUIDE providing information on how to use the Oxford referencing systems
4. ABOUT providing some info on the App
