Amsterdam Smart City is an independent partner for climate and energy projects. The organization gathers companies, authorities and citizens in Amsterdam to save energy by testing smart technologies and innovative partnerships. In this way Amsterdam Smart City will contribute towards the fulfillment of the objectives of the city of Amsterdam. Amsterdam Smart City is an initiative of the Amsterdam Innovation Motor (AIM) and Liander, in close collaboration with the city of Amsterdam and a still growing number of partners. Since the foundation in 2009, more than fifteen projects have been started in the field of sustainable working, living, mobility and the public space.
