Application Description
Alphabet Words and Sounds is a free educational app for young children that are beginning to learn the basic sounds of the English alphabet. By tapping on letters and words, children will be able to listen to the sounds and develop a better understanding of how individual letters are used in the English language.
As a graphic design educator and a father of young children that are proficient in using an iPad, I found a need to provide more meaningful and engaging experiences on these mobile devices. With inspiration from my children I have embarked on this digital journey and look forward to developing additional learning resources in the near future.
