Introducing YAP at YER MLA! A new way to express your point of view with British Columbia's politicians. Ever watched the evening news and seen a story about how Government wasted hundreds of millions of dollars on a failed project and thought: "why I oughta...who do I have to talk to…who is my elected representative? I need to let them know I am not pleased". Have you ever been traveling within the province and seen a problem that should be reported to the district's Member of the Legislated Assembly (MLA) but not known who to contact or which constituency you are even in? Ever just wanted to give the politicians a piece of your mind??

Well now you can! Introducing an easy way to YAP at YER MLA! You can now find and communicate with your elected representative just by opening the app! They work for you! Let 'em know how they are doing!!

Ok - So how does the app work?

Using GPS, YAP at YER MLA determines which electoral district you are currently in, and then pulls up information about the sitting MLA, the current constituency, and the party-affiliation. You can then hit the Compose Memo button and send your YAP to that politician. If you would like to YAP at another Elected Representative, select that individual from the drop down list.

This app DOES NOT collect ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION. IT COLLECTS NO INFORMATION AT ALL. None. Period. Cross our hearts and hope to die, and if found to be untrue we will let you stick needles in our eye. The app uses the native email function of the iPhone to send your YAP, so your YAP is sent from your own email account

We have no idea who YAPs or what they YAP about.

We just hope it is an effective tool that helps you let your elected representatives know more about the issues that affect you! Question the Establishment! Keep democracy strong!!!
