WXXI Public Media App:
Go Public with the WXXI Public Media App for I-Phone! Tap on “Listen” to choose from four different LIVE radio streams to get your favorite WXXI music and news programming. Access “Coming Up” to find out all the WXXI programs, services and events we recommend. Tap “WXXI News” for updated local news stories on the go! You can play video and audio clips which are embedded in coming up highlights and news stories. Check TV and Radio schedules to see what’s on and what’s coming up.
Live Streaming:
• Choose live streams for WXXI NEWS (AM 1370), Classical 91.5, WRUR 88.5 Different Radio or WITH Radio with a tap on the App radio dial. • One tap stream switching – flip over to another stream with a single tap.
• Start your stream and it will continue to play. Great for travel!
• Listen to WXXI in the background while browsing the web or catching up on your emails!
WXXI News:
Get locally reported and produced news stories through the WXXI News feed. Stories can include text, audio, video, and photos/graphics, all accessed through the App. WXXI’s news team also selects the most relevant NPR stories to make available to you on the feed. The stories update on your device, so you have all the latest WXXI News at home, at work or when you travel.
