Write On is the only writing app that lets your child practice their name, follow proper strokes for both Block and Script letters, has multiple lines so they can see their progress, sounds in both American and UK English, letter sounds, phonetic sounds, animated letter strokes, cute animal animations, write in multiple colors, erase last stroke, and more.
The Mac Observer = There is a lot of play value offered for the meager three bucks charged. It’s easy to see how long a child can use it first learning letters and then learning to block print and later writing in script.

Write On is the only application that allows YOU to help your child practice their writing. All you have to do is enter any word into the application and your child can then practice writing it on their own. Imagine teaching your child how to write his/her name through the power of technology!
Write On will help improves your child's writing skills by providing them with plenty of space to practice either with their finger, or with a stylus that works with the iPad. No more wasting paper or buying expensive writing books!
The full version includes;
Alphabet Song page, Writing page, Word page, Practice page, and the Easy to Hard Strokes mode.
Alphabet song - Charming song that teaches the alphabet and shows the letters as it sings. All of the letters and animals are in color in the full version.
Writing Page -Display the proper strokes for all of the letters - Show your child how to properly write both the Upper and Lower case of all of the letters - You do this by simply touching the letter. Full has all of the letters available to your child.
Sounds for the letter and its phonetic sound - simplified for young children.
Each letter is associated with an animal - Very Cute animal animation for each letter, and in each page you can touch the animal and replay the animation.
Word page - tap the word in the Writing Screen and the Word practice screen slides in so your child can practice writing a word.
Practice page - Large Practice screen can be used to have your child practice writing their name, or writing anything they want. - Full version allows you to Save the word for frequent usage.
Easy to Hard Strokes mode - Have your child start from the easiest strokes to make a letter and then advance to the harder strokes. The alphabet has a proper order, but to learn to write there is an alternative sequence so kids don't get frustrated. Full has all of the letters- Lite version only has 3 letters in the Easy sequence
Option to add more than 70 animals so your child can learn more than 100 animals.
