Application Description
This app is tool for use by restaurant staff that adds mobile payment and tableside ordering capabilities to the Restaurant Manager Point of Sale System. You can see how it works by using Demo mode.
The Write-On Handheld tableside ordering and payment solution works seamlessly with the Restaurant Manager Point of Sale system to mobilize wait staff helping restaurateurs increase revenue, cut costs and streamline operations.
Increase revenue with faster order processing: Wait staff use simple abbreviations and other text messaging techniques to take orders right at tableside and then route them to the kitchen or bar with the touch of a single button.
Cut server training time with the familiar interface of the iPod touch: If you are familiar with text message abbreviations like “LOL” (laugh out loud), you’ll be able to master the Write-On Handheld in minutes!!
Reduce errors and increase up-selling opportunities: Forced modifiers, customizable prompts at tableside, and real time access to 86’d item information reduces the need for comps and increases suggestive selling and average checks.
How does it work
The Write-On Handheld abbreviates menu items using the first letter of every word. For instance, if a menu includes Shrimp Cocktail and Filet Mignon, waiters simply type “SC” or “FM” to order these items.
