Device Sharing

What is Device Sharing and why?

A majority of us now own multiple iOS devices. I personally feel a few years from now, the devices would simply act as interfaces to the tasks performed by a single app or a single task spread across multiple interfaces. Right now I don't think there's any app which explores on this and truly makes use of the different devices we own.

The Device Sharing in Write offers 2 functions for now: 

1. Remote Keyboard 

As the name says, Remote keyboard will allow you to use your iPad or iPhone as an external keyboard for typing while your other iPad or iPhone handles the main Write workflow. 

2. Remote Clipboard 

Remote Clipboard will allow you to use your other iOS device as a clipboard. Here's a typical scenario, say you are writing something on your iPad and you want to research something in Safari or copy something over. Now the typical thing to do would be to minimize the app, open Safari, copy over things you need and then open Write again and paste it. But what if you could use your idle iPhone to research, anything you copy on your iPhone in any app would automatically be available on the iPad inside the Writing area of Write app. The first time you use this, it would totally feel like magic! 

Note that both of your devices need to be connected to the same Wifi Network for this to work.
