You can browse the news by class (Druid, Paladin, Hunter, etc) or by topic (Auction House, Mist of Pandaria Beta, etc.) and even setup custom filters so you only see the stories you're interested in.
In addition to the newest links and opinions, WoW Headlines lets you read the latest forum posts by Blizzard employees inside the app. You can keep up with the most recent thoughts from the staff on current issues in the World of Warcraft right on your phone.
WoW Headlines also comes with a built-in Realm Status checker that will tell you when your favorite server is up and running or current down for maintenance.
