This Digital Video Library lesson is taught by Ginger Durio, a SPARK gifted program teacher from Dolby Elementary School in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Ms. Durio presents the lesson activity World Wide Weather on the Web to a class of twenty-three 2nd grade students. Students discuss how weather affects various elements of life, including clothing, emotions, plants, pets, and school. Students use a drawing software program to create pictures and descriptive paragraphs of two different types of weather conditions. Students also capture images of local weather conditions to compare and contrast.
