Word Count Log is a simple productivity tool for writers. It is essentially a logbook for recording the word count on your writing projects.

PLEASE NOTE:

- Word Count Log is not a word processor
- Word Count Log does not count words for you
- Word Count Log does not connect to your files
- Word Count Log will not bestow upon you magical writing abilities

Word Count Log simply allows you to track your progress on any writing project (anything from a term paper to a novel).

Each day you work on your project, just check how much you've written that day and update the log accordingly.

To check how much you've written, simply look it up on your word processor's word count feature. All word processors have one. (Word Count Log does not count words for you.)

Word Count Log is particularly useful when there is a predefined word target, such as for a school essay or term paper, or when participating in an activity like the NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month).

And even if you don't have a target, it's still a great way to track how much you've written.
