Wine Taster gives you the support to practice your tasting skills, and helps you build the vocabulary to talk about wine aromas. There are no rights or wrongs. Tasting is subjective. Look at the wine, smell the wine, and taste the wine. Wine Taster walks you through the standard steps of wine tasting, suggesting common descriptors of visual characteristics, aromas and tastes, along with the ability to add your own descriptors.
ILLUSTRATED AROMA DESCRIPTORS
Over 100 standard aroma descriptors are accompanied by gorgeous images that help trigger your olfactory memories, and suggest the right word to describe what you smell and taste. Of course you can add your own custom aroma descriptors. Does the smell of a wine remind you of your grandfather's cologne? You can register this aroma memory with Wine Taster.
POWERFUL WINE DATABASE
Wine Taster also provides powerful wine database functions, allowing you to easily enter information and photos of the wines you taste. Clearly identify any bottle by properly extracting the appellations, grape varieties, vineyards and denominations from the wine label. All the names of producers, appellations and other data fields are remembered so you never have to retype them.
