Application Description
If you would like to remember your experiences, track your reviews and cellar, Wine DB is the app for that.
Wine DB creates a community of wine lovers that share their opinions, review and rare finds.
★ Manage your cellar: Easily add entries to your cellar by selecting wines from our extensive database. You can add your purchase location, price and as many reviews as you like. Your reviews are grouped by wine, so you can easily compare that bottle from 1 year ago; should you keep it for a few more years? Or, is it best to drink up! Your cellar is also available offline, so if you are traveling, and want to buy some wine for your cellar, you can check what you have without needing the internet.
★ Barcode Scanning: Have that bottle you want to drink from your cellar? No problems! Just scan it and Wine DB will show you the entry, making it easy for you to add notes and reviews. At the store? Just scan the bottle and Wine DB will tell you what other users thought and what they paid for it.
★ Search and Filter: Wine DB has extensive filtering capabilities to find the wine that you are looking for. Filter on region, varietal, price, and rating. If you already know what you want, you can always search by name or barcode.
★ Compare Vintages: How does the 1998 compare to the 2001 vintage? Just show the listing by vintage, and the pricing and reviews are shown side by side. No other app makes it so easy to make a decision.
★ Ratings and Reviews: When you drink a bottle, record a score. Wine DB allows you to score with the 100 points system or 5 stars - your choice! For each wine, you have the choice to add a wine profile (Oak, Aroma, Intensity, etc), and also detailed tasting notes. Wine DB will show your personal ratings and the community ratings for each wine in your cellar. If you would rather keep your tasting notes private, that's available too.
★ Wishlist: Had a great bottle somewhere and can’t wait to add it to your collection? Just add it to your wishlist on Wine DB, for the next time you are at the store.
