Application Description
THE GAME
WHOS is an online variation of the classic board game Guess Who? which can be played via Bluetooth or via a local area network. All you need is a friend with his own smartphone.
The game begins with a player challenging an opponent to play with him by giving the opponent the opportunity to choose a character from a set. The objective of the game is for the player to determine which character the opponent has chosen. This is done by asking various yes/no questions to eliminate characters. The player can ask 15 yes/no questions. After that, he has 3 attempts to figure out the name of the character. If 3 wrong guesses are given, the player automatically looses the game and the opponent wins. Players and opponents can track their winning/losing points in the app.
INSTRUCTIONS
As soon as you start the app, you will be presented with a list of online players. You can either begin a new game (by pressing the first button on the bottom), in which case you will be the guesser, or you can select a player from the list and accept to play his game (by pressing the second button on the bottom), in which case you will choose a character.
Following that, you will be introduced into a screen where all the action will take place: one player chooses the character, then the other asks a question, then the first one replies by giving a yes/no answer, and so on, until 15 questions are posted. After that, the guesser has 3 attempts to figure out the name of the character. He either wins (and points are assigned to him) or loses (and points are assigned to opponent).
KEEP TRACK OF WINNINGS
If you click the third buttom on the bottom, you will access a list of all the oponents you have ever played with and the respective scores. Further, you can add a photo to associate with the opponent.
THE SETS
If you click the forth button on the bottom, you will access a list of all sets available to you with detailed information about each character.
The lite version gives you access to 2 sets (with approximatly 40 characters). The pais version gives you access to 20 sets (with approximatly 500 characters).
