Application Description
WhisperShout – an app for communicating and sharing the stories of your life with video.
There are two sides of WhisperShout -- Whispers and Shouts. :)
Whispers are short clips of video that you share privately. You can share a Whisper with one friend or a group of friends, but only those who you choose can view and respond.
Shouts are clips of video that are shared publicly. These are viewable to the world, or, if you prefer, you can restrict them so only your group of friends can see them. Shouts can be shared on Facebook or Twitter and can also be watched online at whispershout.tv. Every time you capture and upload a Shout, it is added to your public Shout channel.
What makes WhisperShout unique? In addition to the ability to have complete control over who gets to see the videos you share, with WhisperShout, just tap play once! When you watch a channel or conversation, the entire collection of short clips in that channel is played back seamlessly as one stream of video. Channels can be a collection of clips from a certain user, or organized by #hashtag. Vote up the videos you like and think are most relevant, and vote down those videos you don’t like. The best content goes to the front!
WhisperShout is the perfect app to share with your closest friends, because it lets you send private video messages or share ongoing stories. Whisper to your girlfriend or boyfriend; send a message to your parents, your bff on the other side of the world, or message your group of friends to make plans for the next epic night out! Traveling? Shout the favorite moments of a vacation or trip you are taking. Share it on Facebook or Twitter. As your story progresses - and you add new clips to that channel - your friends will stay up-to-date on your latest moments.
Want to share with those friends who don’t have an iPhone? You can send private Whispers to anyone via SMS or email. Your public profile on whispershout.tv will be dynamically updated each time you record a public Shout – just record and send. Shouts can be viewed in any browser!
