Whim – Socialize in Seconds!
Everyone is busy these days and we all have different schedules.
Use Whim to meet up with friends on an impulse.
All those times you’ve wanted to see a few friends but never knew who was free, that’s what Whim is for. It let’s you know which friends are free near you, allows you to quickly invite friends to cool places, and makes socializing a heck of a lot easier! Our goal is to have you in and out of the app within 15 seconds, so you can spend more time seeing friends and less time stuck on your phone.
Who's Free?
Your Facebook and phone contacts are ranked by availability and proximity on Whim. At the top of the list are the friends most likely to be able to hang out with you; friends that you may not know are a block away. How do we do this? Magic… and a ranking algorithm; whenever you open Whim you become available. But don’t worry, you can always turn your availability off and your GPS location is never displayed.
Where to go?
Once you've picked which friends you want to see, Whim suggests a few nearby places to go or you can select your own destination. Machiattos at a vintage café, no problem. Good old beer after your 9 to 5, we got you. Lunch before your afternoon class with buddies you haven’t seen in a while, most definitely.

Push notifications with the vital info; Whim lets your friends know the deets so you don't have to. Your friends will know what’s going on within seconds, all you need to do is head to wherever it is you’re meeting at.
There may be some technical difficulties now and then though as we’re just getting started. We hope you can bear with us, and we promise Whim is only going to get better. Leave us some feedback too; your input really helps!
