Weighbridges UK provides HGV drivers, caravan owners and other drivers easy access to location details of public weighbridges in the UK.

Weighbridge locations are displayed on the iPhone's map while providing the ability to search for locations using one of a number of criteria. The user may search by;

o company name,
o town,
o county or
o postcode.

Enter full or partial details and the results will be shown ready for selection.

Example,
Select the Town search and enter Cambridge and all weighbridges in that location will be displayed

Select the postcode search and enter IP and all weighbridges with a postcode starting IP will be displayed.

In addition, the user may search for weighbridges that are located within a specified distance from their current location (location services must be active and 'Weighbridges' permitted to use location services).

Once a weighbridge is selected the user is presented with full address and telephone details, opening hours, weighbridge capacity and size.

With a single touch on the weighbridge detail view, the user can dial the company running the weighbridge facility to schedule an appointment.
