Firstly, Wave It uses the full screen to display its scrolling message. Some similar apps use flashing letters or even a flashing row of dots to display theirs. There are advantages and disadvantages to the Wave It approach: The advantages are that Wave It is brighter, smoother and more legible than some others. The main disadvantage is that Wave It is not so suited to a very fast wave. For best results a moderate, steady wave from the elbow is recommended, as is some practice in front of a mirror.
Secondly, and *** PLEASE NOTE THIS *** Wave It can currently only display messages written in a Latin type alphabet.
