Application Description
The WASP Utility is a tool for configuring WASP modules, monitoring the ANT+ data received by the WASPs on the ANTWork, and capturing the ANT+ data for offline analysis.
The WASP modules are Wi-Fi based ANT/Wi-Fi bridge devices. Any data sent by an ANT+ sensor within reception range of a WASP is forwarded to the Wi-Fi network for use in the iOS device. Any number of iOS devices can receive the data at the same time. In addition, the data can also be sent to a routable endpoint anywhere on the web.
The WASP Utility has five major areas of functionality:

The utility utilizes location based services to record location during a session. Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
