WHAT IS THE FAN MISERY INDEX?
We’ve created a method that calculates a Fan Misery Index (FMI) based on relative strengths of a unique set of statistics (based on team performance on the field) and opinions (based on your votes from within the Fan Misery App). The FMI is conceptually similar to the S&P 500 Index – it’s a value between 0 and 10, where 0 indicates bliss and 10 represents the ultimate misery that you as a fan could ever envision.
The FMI is calculated & updated daily, throughout the season & off-season.
