WantATaxi is an easy to use, taxi-finding service for people wanting a taxi NEARBY. Utilizing the location services of YOUR device, WantATaxi sends a request to taxis (that are using the WantAPassenger application) who are looking for a passenger in their area. A taxi driver will respond to your request and you will receive a message indicating that a taxi is on its way. Features include:
- Automatically finds your current location;
- Shows a list of taxis nearby wanting a passenger;
- SEE taxis within a specified range (5km, 10km, or 15km);
- Map view showing one taxi or all taxis in your immediate area;
- Real-time submission of a request to a nearby taxi;
- Message sent to you when a taxi is on its way.
