Application Description
WallBreakr App is all about career on Wall Street. It consist two big parts and our goal is to build the ultimate information platform for everyone to learn about the financial industry and to better prepare aspired students in their career pursuit in finance.
"The Vault" shares with you the most frequently appeared interview questions on Wall Street and currently has 6 sections and 221 questions.
"WallBreakr Insider Content" consist of 4 sections - Data Center, News Room, The Cafe and Cheat Sheet, and all the sections are supported by the Wall Street Professionals in our Editing Team.
Data Center
• Key data from equity, fixed-income, commodities, credit, and FX markets, as well as macroeconomic data and company-specific data are carefully selected, filtered and posted in Data Center.
• Each data post also includes a professional comment from the editor posting it - we want to share some opinion and perspectives on these data so that each of these can help you build your intuition and "feel" of the financial market.
News Room
• Each weekday we compile a overview of the markets in succinct bullet-point format. These are either the most important events or the most interesting news from the perspective of each of the editors.
• Each weekday we will also edit one news story, which is, in the team's opinion, the most crucial or interesting piece of news you need to know on the day. Instead of cramming everything you read in Bloomberg or Wall Street Journey, simply spend time to understand just one event well each day. And we are confident you will gradually build a solid knowledge base of the financial world.
The Cafe
• The Cafe is a platform on which any one can ask and answer any questions. It is participated by all of you, our editing team, as well as other professionals in the industry and academics in finance.
• The editing team will select the most relevant or most useful questions to answer or the most interesting finance topic to discuss with everyone.
Cheat Sheet
• Think of it as flash cards for some of the very useful concept and equation in quantitative finance.
• In our opinion, this is most useful as a quick review of knowledge once in a while or even just before your interviews or exams.
