How to Use Volcano Trek App:

Volcano Trek app opens on the What's Shakin' page. Touch Red pins for volcano activity. Touch Green pins for earthquake activity. The volcano pins will take you directly to information about What’s Shakin’ with that volcano and the earthquake pins will show you the date, area, depth and magnitude of the earthquake.

Volcano Explorer opens on a world map of Volcano Regions. Touch a spot on the world map to identify a Volcano region. Or touch the word "Region" for a pull down menu. Or type in the region or name of the volcano you want to explore. From there, link to individual Volcano Profile pages.

Once in a Volcano Profile page, you will get fascinating, scientific information about your volcano. Most Volcano Profile pages include a beautiful photo of that volcano. Check out the Map It feature on your Volcano Profile page. And don't miss the awesome satellite map view in Map It. The Volcano Profile page links to Lonely Planet and Trip Advisor. Once there you can explore traveling to your volcano! And if your travels take you to a volcano, you can photograph it for your own photo album and even submit it to Volcano Trek – your photo could be included in the next version of the app!
