Stay up to date with the UK's largest short film competition. Watch every entry, swot up on the history of short film, check out past winners and be the first to hear the latest competition news.
We believe that every raw talent deserves a break, whether you’re a Tarantino in training or giving film making a spin for the first time. A shortlist of 12 films will be selected by our panel of curators and screened in UK cinemas for a year. And for the first time ever, we're opening up a 13th spot for the entry that's shared online the most.
The final 13 shorts will be shown in cinemas nationwide for a year, screening before the main feature. On top of that, the Grand Prize winner will walk away with £30,000 funding to make their next film, along with money-can’t-buy expert mentoring from the UK’s leading film body, the British Film Institute.
