Violin Scale Practice helps novice violinist to learn and memorize violin finger position of left hand.

If you have difficulty mapping between musical notes and violin finger position, this app will be great helpful to you.
It is free until 2012-03-31 and after that, it return to normal price.

With Violin Scale Practice, you can
- Select songs to Practice.
(Includes major songs of Hohmann violin method Vol. 1)
- Or select random notes for advanced practice.
If you select random notes, you can also select temporary keys like sharp, flat.
- Display finger number on notes and finger position.
- Listen selected song before you practice that song.
- It displays exact finger position for a given note and you should touch that point with your left hand fingers.

Settings you can select
- Finger number ON or OFF.
- Study mode vs. Challenge mode.
Study mode is for learning finger position. If you touch wrong point, notes will not advance.
Challenge mode is for testing your capabilities and you can get scores. The finger position hint is hidden and you should touch exact location of given note.
- Play speed

If you want to get higher score on Challenge mode, you have to
- Touch exact finger location of given notes.
- Faster touch will get higher score.
- Finger position OFF.

Known bugs
- When you selecting a song, occasionally disappears song title or main key signature.
If this happen, simply select others and it will appear again.
It is not a serious problem but is difficult to fix.
