Vincent Wallpaper is a collection of over 70 iconic paintings by Vincent van Gogh. Each image has been optimised for the retina display of the iPhone and iPod Touch.
Images can be emailed directly from the application to your friends or saved to the camera roll to be used as wallpaper.
Vincent Willem van Gogh (1853-1890) was a Dutch post-Impressionist painter whose work, notable for its rough beauty, emotional honesty, and bold colour, had a far-reaching influence on 20th-century art. After years of painful anxiety and frequent bouts of mental illness, he died at the age of 37 from a gunshot wound, generally accepted to be self-inflicted. During his lifetime, his work was known to only a handful of people and appreciated by fewer still.
