A new way to discover the gardens.
An Exclusive Official Château de Versailles application.
This application has been designed to be used as a virtual tour available anywhere or as a guided tour when you are in the gardens.

Museum curators, architects, gardeners, fountain keepers accompany you to discover the gardens, the masterpiece of Louis XIV and his gardener, Le Nôtre.
Through many videos, experience fully the history of this major place of art and history, of celebrations and entertainement. Discover details of a specific décor, a meaningful perspective or hidden parts of Versailles.
Use the satellite map and zoom feature to virtually visit the gardens, to listen up to 16 audio tracks about the wonderful ornamental fountains, the statues and famous gardens, all of them indicated on the map. Experience the breathtaking beauty and splendeur of Versailles gardens with full-screen slideshows.
Interactive tour of the gardens
- Thanks to GPS, once you are in the gardens surroundings, the application will always keep you informed of your position and will push you relevant information. For example, when you go close to the Colonnade, your iPhone starts to vibrate and a film shows you the underground hydraulic network, guided by the Versailles fountain keeper.
- Vision + : enter into an augmented reality mode and discover the gardens in a fun and exclusive way by filming your surroundings.
All contents (audio tracks, video, slideshows and the map) are embedded in the app so loading them will no cost you any roaming cost.
* NB : Vision + requires an iPhone 3GS.
