Application Description
Official App for "VIVA Sustainable Wine": project launched in July 2011 by the Italian Ministry for the Environment to encourage eco-sustainability in the Italian wine sector, guaranteeing the environmental quality of products carrying the Ministry label.
The App scans the label on bottles produced by wineries participating in the V.I.V.A. Sustainable Wine scheme and is a tool to clearly show the environmental performance of products according to four criteria: Air, Water, Land and Vineyard.
The App also shows the objectives, methods, results and teamwork of the project.
This App also provides a directory of the wineries participating in the V.I.V.A. Sustainable Wine project, gives their geographic location using maps, includes a description of the producer and detailed information and datasheets about their high-quality wines.
The goal is to provide the user with a complete and accurate database of Italian viticulture and enology in terms of quality and eco-sustainability.
